A judge may issue an arrest warrant for a felony or upon finding probable cause. In Arizona, a judge may also issue a warrant if a person fails to appear in court as ordered or fails to pay a fine as ordered by the court. In any case, having an outstanding warrant is very serious and should be addressed quickly. If you have an active warrant, your license will be suspended by the MVD, and you could easily be picked up at a traffic stop. If you do not know if you have any warrants, you should do a warrant search as soon as possible.
